Girls In Property

What Happens When Things Go Wrong & Who You Become Next with Natasha Clarke

Athena Dobson

In this episode of the Girls in Property podcast, I sit down with subconscious coach and mentor Natasha Clarke for an honest and powerful conversation about our belief system and understanding who you are before you jump into any strategy.

We talk about what happens when things feel sticky in business or property, when a strategy is not working, or when you feel like you are doing all the right things but something still feels off. Natasha shares the difference between wobbling and pivoting, and why changing the story you tell yourself when things go wrong can shift everything.

Natasha opens up about her own journey, including a really tough year where her family faced serious health challenges and how that affected her identity and self worth. We talk about how easy it is to tie your value to money or results, and why the inner work matters just as much as the strategy.

This episode is for you if you are starting out in property or already in a strategy that feels heavy or confusing. We talk about building a life you actually love, designing life on your terms, and defining what success really means to you.

Natasha also shares simple tools for handling stress and emotions, including her ACI method Awareness, Clearance and Identity, which helps you understand what is really driving your choices beneath the surface.

This is a conversation about property, but more than that, it is about you, your life and creating success in a way that feels good.

Good morning everyone and welcome to today's episode of the Girls in Property podcast. Well guys, Monday morning, what are we saying once again? It is still cold, it's still frosty, but we are getting there, absolutely. Thank you so much for all of your DMs this week. I love the fact that you are loving all of the guests that we have had on so far, whether it's talking about Alex with her avitoire, whether it's Becky and sort of like being fabulous. And then today I have got an amazing, amazing guest once again. on the podcast and I'm bringing something new once again to Girls and Property and for all of you. And what I really thought about is what would work potentially really well today with all of the DMs that I received from you guys is you always sort of speak to me and rightfully so, like I'm like asking me how to navigate things when things go wrong. Like Athena, this is messed up or this hasn't quite gone to plan. And you're always like, have you got any advice for that when things don't quite work out? um Number one, hell yes, because things go wrong all the time. And remember what I say, if you've ever used this word before, tip from me just before we get into today's podcast, um a lot of you sometimes come up with this word wobble, which I want to talk to this guest about today. This word wobble seems to come up a lot within our psyche. And what I want us to really think about today is changing the narrative on that and using the word pivot instead. So rather than wobbling, we're going to pivot a little bit today. And hopefully the incredible guest is going to help you to do this. Now, just a bit of caveat, just to let you know. So the reason I specifically asked this person to actually come on the podcast today is because I personally am working with her. So I am really excited to be working with her. I know that this year is all about finding me, taking me to the next level and really sort of like unblocking myself and almost unlearning things in order to relearn things as well. And so, Genuinely, I am working with this person this year. So that's why I'm bringing her to you I'm sharing her with you and I'm hoping that we are going to give some really great golden nuggets today for all of you to take away So without further ado, I'd love to introduce today Natasha Clark. Hey Tash Hey, hey, hey. You excited? I am very excited to be a guest on this incredible podcast, so thank you. That's okay, thank you for coming on. I'm super excited. Okay, let's start first of all, Tash, because obviously I know you, but I feel like within the world of Girls and Property, potentially, unless actually you did obviously meet a lot of girls at the Girls and Property Winter Party, where we discovered your hidden talent of being an absolute rock star with your singing and dancing, because you used to be in a girl band, didn't you? I I did. Many moons ago now, it feels like a lifetime uh ago. Yeah, but you literally got up and just started singing and like literally doing a whole dance routine. And we were like, like, this is incredible. I was like, how can we hire you to do this, Tash? feel like Beyonce just takes over, the vibe just comes on and I'm like, I literally think I'm her and then I'm like, but I feel like you set the tone, you went up there first. And I was like, oh, because I think someone comes and said, are you gonna go up? I was like, no, no, no, no, no, I'm just like, I'm here as a fan, thanks. And then I think you got up, smashed it and I was like, oh, okay. And then someone else got up and they were like, I was the only person that didn't get up then I was like, okay, everyone's gone by me. But it was incredible. it was so much fun. Just for context, guys, this was at the winter party. We're now at about one or two a.m. in the morning. I definitely had about one too many tequilas at this point, courtesy of the girls. And I had one of those moments in life where I just went, I'm in a safe environment, I'm around my girls, screw it. And I literally just got up on stage, took the microphone and just horrendously just started belting out some songs. So. It was a great night, but that's what it's about, isn't it? It's about having fun and just letting your hair down with the right people. Yeah, and I think it's a really good point here because you obviously create such a safe space for the girls that were there that were able to do that. Because don't forget, especially me and Lisa, we didn't really hardly know anybody there. And yet the women that you bring into and attract into your circle are so incredible thing that everyone just felt so safe and that could have a few drinks and get up and do Beyonce or like Taylor Swift, their performance side of it. So was amazing. So well done you. I'm so excited for your next events. Oh yes, can't wait, more dancing, more dancing people. So Tash, could you please introduce yourself because what's gonna be brilliant about this is that there are going to be obviously the girls and property listeners who are gonna be listening to this, they've been listening for a while and they're like, oh Athena, you're really talking about some conscious work, let's talk about this more. But obviously you are obviously in the property world as well, which we're gonna be touching on within your story. But also welcome to all of the new listeners who of course you've attracted from your world because you've of course got your own community your own your own Amazingness and so and so anyone who's listening to this today who's brand new to girls and property also welcome to the world And hopefully they're really gonna enjoy today's conversation. So let us know then Tash Let us know about you your story how you got into subconscious work how you got into property and maybe something that people don't know about you as well Ooh, okay. You might need to remind me if I've missed anything off. So hello, I'm Natasha Clark and I am a subconscious coach and business mentor. For me, what I focus on is soul strategy. So I help women become bad asses, unlock, unravel, uncode those limiting beliefs, those stuck emotions, those stories that are going round and round in your head that are playing out once you're executing all the strategy, which is actually stopping you from creating the success that you want to do. Now I've been in business for nine years and I started off in mindset. That's, I was like known as that mindset coach. And then as I scaled my business to six figures, I then kept having lots of women message me and be like, Tash, can you teach me how you done it? Cause you seem to do it in your own way. The thing is when you start business and you're, you're working with business coaches and it's only done one way, you think you've got to hustle. You think you've got to be in that masculine energy, which I massively was. And for me as a generator, as an Aries, that felt very comfortable for me. Hustling, working really hard, coming from an Irish background was very normal. And that is how I, when now I've looked into the subconscious to it, that's how I got my reward. Worked really hard. I was working seven days a week. My dad would be like, well done, I'm really proud of you. Got good grades. I'm gonna be like, well done. So I was constantly on this rat race of burnout. And then what happened is as I scaled my business, it's, you know, then that's when I really started to dive more into the mindset work. So I was marrying the mindset with the business strategy. Great. working really well. You know, we were having incredible launches 2020 to 2021 was phenomenal. Like anything I launched, it sold out. I was having the most amazing souls during my world, like high multiple figure amounts, like just felt really easy and very normal. And then 2022 hit. And at this point, my son would have been two, but I had a delayed identity crisis. I didn't know who I was. I'd also just got, oh, it's giving me shivers. I also just got told my sister had five years to live. Now anybody that doesn't know me, my family and my absolute world and my extended family, which are our best friends, are ride or dies. So that is why I do what I do. Like they are who I live for. And being told that my baby sister only had five years to live shook my whole world. Should that have affected my business? No, because your business should be separate to the personal stuff. We all have personal stuff going on. Problem was My identity was so intertwined into me as a business owner, how much money I made and the success that I'd created. When that then was having a knock on effect and I wasn't making the money I was making, I wasn't, I was launching and it wasn't working. I massively crashed. My confidence crashed, my self worth crashed. I was then doubting if I was a good enough mother. I was doubting should I even be in my marriage? Like what am I even bringing to the table? Which feels so sad now to think that so much of my worth was based on how much money I was making and the success that I brought into my business. That's not who I was. It's not who I am, it, but it was. And for me, that's when I discovered the subconscious work because mindset works really powerful, right? Especially when you're new to this, you know, learning how to meditate, learning the affirmations, learning the foundational skills. Great. But as you are growing and scaling your business, and hard times are going to come up and you cannot stop things that happening in your personal life. You need to be able to navigate that. And what was happening with me, there was so much subconscious baggage that was kind of always underlining bubbling up that when it came to the top, it came to the top. I was literally going to walk away from my business, I was like, what's the point? This isn't working. I'm obviously not good enough. And then what was happening, I'd go on my phone, because this is what a Raz does. and goes to find evidence of how this person's just launched this in 10 seconds and made 10 million pounds. This person's already at this scale of business. This person has X amount of this more than me. So it was just fulfilling everything I was feeling about myself anyway. And I was just going on this downward spiral. And then I remember I'd worked with a coach and she said, um, I've just done this, um, it's called RRT. I've just done this, um, subconscious work. I think it'd be really helpful for you. And I was like, brilliant. I always love to work on myself. was like, let's do it. So I done it and in one session he was able to unpick and unravel my self-worth that was so intertwined into how much money I was making literally one session. And why this work was so, so fricking powerful was then I started to do this with my clients and I started seeing them getting the most incredible results. this, and I'm really, this is what the point I really want to drill down. I did not feel this way because I had the highest cash month at the end of that month. It was a didn't, it was just like a whatever month, right? It was okay. But I felt fine. I got to the end of that month and I can't remember what I launched. Like it went okay, but it wasn't amazing. I was like, I feel neutrality. Wow. When my Stripe account was pinging, wasn't like, I'm a badass. Yes. I was like, brilliant. These incredible clients are going to get such great results. I was able to detach away from my business, which I'd never been able to do before. Money meant so much to me. It meant so much of my value. This is what I'm bringing to the table. This is why, Athena, why we should go out for lunch. This is why we should be friends was all because of the success of the business. So when I was able to detach away from that, that is when things changed massively. wow, wow, how powerful is that? I love that Tash. I love your energy. Like even through the screen, I can just feel your energy. Like it's just brilliant. And I've got so much to unpick with you on that one, but just before I do, so tell me also something that maybe people don't know about you. So anyone who's in your world, for example, what's one thing that people don't know about you? something weird is I'm obsessed with crocodiles like uh talk to me. What is this obsession with crocodiles? I I think because from a young age when I had my first surgery when I was 19 for my back I spent a lot of time since six months in bed for covering and I wasn't really massively into like Huge amounts of TV but I became obsessed with untamed and uncut and it was this YouTube channel that would show you Encounters that people had with like crocodiles or tigers. They always got away So, you know, no one died didn't watch anything like horrendous like that. So it would be close encounters and it just got me, was like wow crocodiles and that was it, I then started watching more videos and more and I just become obsessed, so obsessed that one of my best friends, my birthdays actually bought me like, you know like you can do a zoo experience but just for crocodiles and there's one in, I think it was in Kent, there's one literally in the UK because obviously it's not really where crocodiles should be living, it's obviously fake encounters but I was able to like be a zookeeper for the day, mean how strange and weird is that but I... Just obsessed with them. I love them and I can't wait till we're gonna go on a safari trip and that's the most excited I am to see a crocodile. I have seen one before in Florida but I'm really excited about that. That's weird about me. Love it. Love it. Weird and wacky. Fabulous. Do you know, I'm going to send you this photo actually. I've got the most incredible photo of me. It's a bit stupid actually, of me really, really close to a live crocodile in Mexico last year. And actually on reflection, it's a really stupid thing that I did because it is wild, completely wild. And I was like, how close can I get to this crocodile without dying, do you reckon? And it seemed really placid. So I was like, okay, I'll get as close as I can. I got really close. I'll you the photo. need to send that me as soon as we finish. I need to see that. my goodness. I got really close to it. You'll be like that. That's actually a bit stupid. So yeah, I don't recommend it. Please. Nobody listens to this podcast go and do this what I did. But if you want to see the photo DM me and I'll send it to you. It's a it's a real photo. It's not AI. I got that close to a wild crocodile. Yeah, that was a Mexico. So I love crocodiles. Crocodiles are awesome. And hippos, hippos, crocodiles, both really cool. really cool because with a hippo it's very unannounced but they're actually one of the most dangerous animals there are. there is, there is. I love how we've completely detoured this podcast. Let's get back to the vids, but that's my fault. But I love it. And this is why I ask these questions, because I'm like, I'm like, tell me more about you. Like what's under the surface, you know? OK, so just going back to this then Tash, because something that you said that we're definitely going to be deep diving when we do our sessions together, which I, my God, I can't tell you how excited for. so excited for is I too value em my worth against my finances massively. So for example, when I get a ping to show that a person has just joined the girls and property community, when I see a ping to say someone's just joined your retreat, when I get a ping to say the rent's just come in from your buy-to-let's for example. It literally like, I can't even describe it to you because it's not a conscious thing that I'm doing. I'm not conscious about it. But I can feel that it's either relief or it is... What's the word to use? It's like this... Yeah, guess relief is the right word. It's like, it's working, money is there, I feel safe, I feel secure. And what I can't wait to unpick with you when we go through our journey together is... where that stems from because clearly that must stem from some element of insecurity or not feeling like I had money. And obviously there was a point in my life when I was younger when we didn't have money and maybe that's like kind of stayed. But I think that for a lot of listeners listening to this, that they're all going to agree with you with that because when you're a business owner, think what, well, I know, no, what I think what happens is, is there is so much self doubt. There is self doubt that comes from your own brain and there is self doubt that actually comes from other people in your environment going, don't you think that's a bit risky? How do know you can trust that person? How do you know it's going to work? I don't think that's a good idea. And what happens is, is that you've got it coming in from the sides and you've got it within yourself as well. And I think what happens is, is when the money starts to come in, because so many outgoings at the beginning in trying to just keep the business alive. you're almost going, my God, thank God I didn't make the biggest mistake of my life and this actually is working. And sometimes I think it comes from a place of that and then you accredit your identity to it because it becomes your life. Like I've never really met a business owner, a real, real business owner, where they're like, the business didn't literally become my identity or my life. Cause it certainly is mine. Like I'm not even going to say like it became mine and it left. It still is my identity to this day. Mm-hmm. like almost what advice would you give to me or anyone listening to this, just small nuggets about like how the first steps to almost try and just detach from that so that you don't get triggered every time that your phone pings in either a positive or a negative way. is we're conditioned for external validation. So whether it's a ping of a Striper count or someone liking something, because then what we do is the story that becomes our head is that is working. So it means that I'm enough. I've just received that, which means that I am valuable. I've just put that out there and X amount of people have liked it, which means that I'm okay. I'm liked. All right. And when we think about going back to when we were cave women, the one biggest thing for us to stay alive. was being within our community. That was the most important part because if you're outside the community, you wouldn't be fed, you wouldn't be looked after and you would die. So our brains, it still hasn't evolved. Life has evolved, but our brains haven't. So we're still in that survival mode. So it still feels like you not going viral means that you're gonna die. You not hitting 10K this month means that you're going to die. Consciously, you're all listening to this going, I know I'm not gonna die if I don't make 10K this month. but that's not how your subconscious is working and your subconscious is running 95 % of the show. Only 5 % of that is conscious. So you go in in the mirror, I can do this. I know I can do this. Yes, this is working. Okay, brilliant. That's only 5 % of it though. So the 95%, which is running the whole of your business, which is then including into your identity, your belief system, your emotional scale of guidance, right? All of that is playing out. So that is why I created the ACI method, right? So the first part of it is the awareness, okay? Having the awareness of, okay, what is the thought that's come up there? What's the thought, right? Then once we have the thought around what that thought is, the thought isn't the problem. We need to get to the belief because that's, there's no point us changing a behavior. Okay, well, what I'm going to do is I'm just going to stop looking at Stripe. That isn't going to change anything. It's not the behavior we need to change. It's not even the thought of, I've been paid. It's the belief. What is the story that's attached to that? And this is why, Let me go back to me understanding the mindset and how it worked. Why I was probably so frustrated at myself was because I was like, I can mindset myself out and think. I know my mind is powerful than a lot of many people's minds, right? So it was more frustrating. So was like, why can't I think myself out of this? Because you can't, you have to get to the root of the subconscious. And this is what I see so many incredible entrepreneurs, they always go for the strategy. It's easier. It's easier to go for a strategy and go, no, what I need to do is I need to change my funnel. No, what I need to do is I need to go viral. I need a marketing, whatever it is, because guess what? It's not looking at yourself. But just there, when you mentioned about, you don't know an entrepreneur, that's identity, is a part of the business. That's what we need to work on. Because listen, my business is literally like one of my babies. I've got Penelope Santiago and my two businesses, right? Especially the coaching business, because I feel like it's my nine year old. So it's massively a part of who I am, what I stand for, but it isn't me anymore. And I think having that distinguishment around this is who I am and this is how I run businesses, but this is the business. The business made X amount of money, not you. Your business and that strategy worked because it enabled you to get in front of 5,000 people. You're not amazing because you went viral. So we have to distinguish and do the work on the true work because I know it can feel quite fluffy. Do self work and love yourself more. Like we need to get down to the nitty gritty of this, right? And understand of where are we intertwining our value into the monthly revenue? Right? So if you say to me, Oh, okay, Tash, my business made 20 K this month. I feel like an absolute badass. I'm like, okay, what if it didn't make 20 K this month and it only made 10? Well, I'd feel like a failure. Right? We need to dive into this. Why is the end? You're telling me a figure on a Stripe account, whether it's a one or a two is determined how you feel about yourself. We need to do this work, right? And it's very conditioned. Of course it is, especially when look on social media and all you see is people going, I've just made a million pound in property or someone else is going, I've just 50 K months are so easy and flow. can get so consumed and wrapped up back into the external validation. I'm not good enough. And you'll just go around in this loop. and you could be doing your animations, can sit in your meditation, you could be doing on, you know, going to one of those blackout retreats for a month, but you come back into it and you're triggered again. So that's why this work is so important. So the A is the awareness part. Once you have the awareness, great, but that's not going to change anything. We then need to go to the clearance. So that's when you need a toolkit of tools to be able to shift that. So it's not that I don't get triggered anymore. It's not that, can you swear on this? It's not that shit doesn't happen to me. What it is, is I have a toolbox to be able to deal with that. Okay? So then that's the clearance stage. And if you don't have that, then get, get to know somebody, you know, you can always come onto my Instagram and I can guide you in the right way to be able to have that toolbox. For me, going through the hellish year that I did in 2022, for me, I had to go through that because now I've learned so much that I can literally pour into my clients because I truly believe, I don't care what business you do, everybody needs a toolbox to be able to deal with their subconscious. because it flows into motherhood, it flows into relationships, it flows into friendships, it flows into every part and area of your life. And that leads me into the I, which is the identity. We can change your belief systems, literally like my magic power. I'm like, give me a belief, let me work on this, right? I love it. But we have to then move the identity. And this becomes quite intertwined. Remember I mentioned about the me becoming a hustler. And I know so many of your girls are gonna relate and go, yeah, you've just got to, you know, we're very ingrained into No sleep, just keep working. Like how bad do you want this? It's quite that masculine, dare I say it like that bro marketing kind of vibe, right? That's not how us as females run businesses. And I'm not saying, we just ease and flowing meditate and money just comes to us. No, no, we work smart, but it shouldn't ever be at the detriment to your health, your mental health, to your social life. Like, no. So we need to look at the identity in which you are running your business. Are you getting something which I've For example, one of my clients, the reason why she hustles so much is because she's attached that to success. I only make money when I do X, Y, and Z. So what we've had to do is rewire her mind so it doesn't believe in that story and give it a different equation. Cause right now this equation is working for her. No, no, no. Because her mind goes back to, but when I was eight, I used to get this praise in school because I used to stay after school and I used to work on it. My mom used to show me so much love and she used to cook my favorite dinner. used to get my grades really, really right. Consciously we're going, but that was when you were seven, but your subconscious doesn't understand that. So it goes, okay, this is how we get praise. Brilliant, let's work harder. So what we then done, using the exact same strategy, little bit of tweaking and her messaging, but near enough the same strategy. And then we've done a different identity shift for her, where it enabled her to have more fun and play in her business. Guess what should mean more money? She's like, I don't believe this Tasha. I've been working in this business for six years with this equation, how are you able to do this? I'm like, this is the identity switch up. You're so ingrained. into thinking and doing things in this way, we just need to, and it can't just happen like that because your brain will revert back. It'll be like, no, no, this is uncomfortable. This is danger. Red alert, stop. Get this Natasha one out of my life. She's trying to change things up here. No, we have to do it slowly. And then what we do is we create a new neuro pathway in your brain. So then this becomes the new trodden path always. So it feels like, okay, this does get to feel easy. It does get to feel flow. I do get to make more money and have lots of fun with my friends. And then that becomes your identity. it's so beautiful and I just wish that I think it's really difficult when you're starting out because when I was starting out you How do I describe this? It's almost like when I was starting my business Which was back in 2022 I almost felt like I was very in my masculine energy and almost like there was no time to focus on me or to focus on unblocking me. I literally wasn't even interested in the conversation because I was so focused, hyper focused Ash, like hyper focused on uh creating the best uh template letter, speaking to 10 agents a day, getting my spreadsheets in order, getting 500 letters out a day, taking all my first property, getting my first visa, all these things overwhelmed my brain. Like every day I woke up and went, here's your list. Do it. Go to work, because I was at work at the time. Go to work, do work, on your lunch break, here's your food. Make sure that you eat something that you can eat with one hand so that you can email with your laptop in the next hand and just keep going every single day. And I was so hyper-focused on it that I think that it's only now that the business is now doing what I intended it for it to do, which is really weird because I still don't feel like it's enough or I'm doing enough. I'm still in that zone, but it's still doing more than it did. in 2022, literally, way more. And so I think now is the time that I've almost given myself permission, dare I say, to almost say, okay, now it's time for you to move to the next level. But in order to do so, I have a thousand bad habits that you have to help me attach. I have so many bad habits that you're going to be very upset with me because I still do them. still almost live... almost live the way that I lived back in 2022, almost, even though I don't need to do it. And this sounds really weird. And I don't know it's going to help the listeners listen to this because I'm going to try and be as raw as I can on this podcast to try and help you to relate to this is. It almost becomes an addiction because you become addicted to the feeling of I'm working, like I'm working hard. You know, it's really weird. Like sometimes you'll hear people say, Athena, I've never seen a hardworking person than you. I've never seen a more driven person than you. I've never seen anyone do what you can do. And it's almost like, fuck yeah. I don't think any, I often think to myself, one, I wouldn't want anyone to do what I do. It's not healthy. And two, I don't think a lot of people could do what I do. And it's almost then, is that a good thing? Or is that, hmm. not a good thing. And this is the work that I can't wait to do because I'm working with you for over a year Tash, we've got a lot of work to do. But I'm just hoping to give the listeners something to think about today in terms of if you hear me and go, Athena, that's me. It might be that even though you think this isn't the right time right now, this actually might be the perfect time for you to now take that journey to actually start with the yourself first before you go forward because Take my word for it. I think that you're going to go a lot faster. And I wish that I'd had this podcast when I first started and somebody say to me, Athena, just take a moment. Maybe there is a different road for you to take it and a healthier road. So I hope this podcast helps people. It will. I think all it is is a pattern. That's all it is that you're currently in right now and which lots of listeners are going to be in and I was. I wore it as a badge of honour. You can't outwork me. I'll do this. I'll do this. I'll do this. I've won this. I don't sleep. You can't outwork me is a perfect... I love that, you can't outwork me. But we wear it as like a badge of honor, some of like you can't, okay, but where, to what degree does that come from? Right? Because you can have, I've got so many clients that on the outside, their business looks like it's absolutely thriving, but they're exhausted, they're burnt out. They're like, Tash, I don't even have enough time to spend the money I'm making right now. Do you know what mean? That I'm so glad that I pay for private healthcare because I need to go in there because I've got aches and pains and I've got this. That isn't running a business. And it's not. There's so much of it that comes down to our conditionings. It would be to our caregivers, society, at the educational system. There's so much that they need to take responsibility for of why we think and feel the way we do, but also we need to own it. You nailed it there, Athena, when you said it's, we need to take this responsibility. We are the CEO. Okay. There is no business. If there isn't us, there's always going to be a business. Someone could buy your business in the morning, right? You can have an exit plan. Someone else, how many people are doing subconscious coaching, right? Loads of people, loads of people are teaching about property, right? The difference is nobody's you, nobody's me, and nobody's listening to this podcast right now, okay? So if you don't make you the focus, your business, you're never gonna be able to grow and scale the business to the degree you want to in the way you want to. And not many people are speaking about this. People talk about high cash months, they talk about success, they talk about growing empires and having X amount of properties on their list. But not enough people are talking about how do you want it to feel? How do you want your business to feel? Do you want to be working seven days a week? Do you want to feel exhausted? Do you want to be messaging and catching up at 2 a.m.? Or do you want to be sleeping eight hours going to the spa, right? What do you want from your business? Because we're so conditioned to be like, how much money do want to make? People can rip that off. They're like, I want to get six figures. I want to get seven figures. And then I go, why? Why do you want to make seven figures? And not a lot of people can actually say off the tip of the tongue, go, because of this. Cause we're so conditioned to believe that as a status of success. Again, It brings us back down to the validation, the extent of validation. I'm enough because I make this much money. I go viral on Instagram. I'm enough. I have X amount of people in my membership or my one-on-one containers, fully booked. I'm enough like me, right? It's like the inner you coming out from the ages of nought to seven when your subconscious was made, right? It was encoded into you. Think about Father Christmas. Okay. You got told about Father Christmas, right? Now I lived in a masonet. We didn't have a chimney, but my mum told me the Father Christmas come down a chimney. I was probably three. I believed her like Santiago does. He believes that Santa, you know, Christmas makes it around the whole wide world in one night because of what his mom's told him. So you think about that way, what you believe about money. You've to work hard for money. Money doesn't grow on trees. You got to marry rich. All of these things that you would have been leave because it would have been coded into you from a young age. That's the work we need to do to encode that because you do get to have it all. And I'm not saying that shit doesn't go wrong. I hello. The last two weeks has been It's been a ride. It's been an absolute ride, but it's been able to be able to hold that, hold the fear, manage the emotions and still be able to navigate through business. I love that. And then just, I wrote them down. So just, just to recap for the listeners. So it's the IC, it's the ACI method. So ACI and A is awareness. So getting aware C is clearance. So getting clear, getting clarity and I is identity. I'm really then shifting identity. I love that. I'm going to, I've written that down for myself. I'm literally just going to be like, right, let's work the ACI framework from Tash. So that's beautiful. So Tash, I really want to go on to talking about this, this notion of effectively navigating when shit goes wrong, because I think that that's what's really, really going to give value today. And I think that it's easy to talk about when things go right, but it's hard to talk about when things go wrong. And I'd love to get some practical examples from you. Just before we do that, we always celebrate here on Giles and Property because it's so important when we are doing the day-to-day grind and the day-to-day trying to build a business to almost step back and go, what the hell am I celebrating at this moment in my life? So Tash, what are you celebrating today? there's so much, Athena. And I make sure that every single day I do a gratitude list of all the things that I do celebrate. I always, I make it kind of a rule in the house that we celebrate everything small, big, like we don't have to wait for the big things. We can celebrate literally all the small little things. So it will be, okay, yeah. I didn't think I was ever, I mean, I haven't shared this with anybody. So I don't know why this is coming out. But I had, I found a lump over Christmas. in my right boob and didn't tell obviously anyone bar literally my family. And so that could have been a very consuming worrying time, right? Because it's in our family. So my mind wanted to go to, my God, this could happen and this could happen and what happens if you do get this? Okay, how are you gonna be able to navigate this? Okay, what does the wheel look like? What happens to Santiago? Like going into literally a crisis mode. And thank God for the subconscious tools that was able to just neutralize that and be like, just stay in the present moment. It's all going to be fine. It is. And I truly believe that I won't believe nothing is not going to be fine until it's not going to be fine. Then I've got to deal with that then. So if I'm being honest with you, I'm really grateful. And my win is healthy. Cause I got the all clear. had a mammogram, I had the scan and yes, it's just some cysts that I need to keep an eye on. that, to me health is wealth. It doesn't matter how much money. I made in the bank. it's interesting because being a Tasha before would have gone, my answer would have been prior to 2022, I had the highest cash December that I've ever had. That would have been Natasha's old answer. Right. And it's not to say that we don't celebrate that because that's incredible. It shows the business is growing. And also for me, it's more about the three clients that come into my world. Like that is what gets me excited. But really what it comes down to is because there is no business without me. What would I do if that was the case? And I had to navigate that. So that's my biggest win. Yeah. Wow, my god, I didn't know that obviously. Thank god that you're okay, obviously. But yeah, it's so true and it's almost like I see so many people have these, you know see it on TV and you see it just on Instagram and everywhere and people go, I had this moment where I realised that life is short and life is worth living and I had this whole epiphany and my whole life has changed and I almost sit with myself sometimes and I go, do you really need a moment to have that? Mm. change it now. It's mad. is. We shouldn't have to wait for those moments, those wake up calls. We should be able to say, listen, life is so great. And I think perspective comes into this and what an exercise that clients is about zooming out because our brains are so zoomed in. So it will be the, Oh, but I've got my to do list or I've got this could be canceled. We get so zoomed in that we need to zoom out and go, okay, everything is always figure out of all. And at the time when it doesn't feel like that way, that's when you need to zoom out even more because think about the amount of millions of people there are in the world, right? And we so consumed with just our perspective of our life and we can go, okay, because let's look at this way, right? I could have spent the whole December worrying about something that didn't even need to be worried about. And I don't believe in your words or your wand, right? So hence why I didn't tell, not tell my friends because I want to keep it from them. I don't want to put that out there. That to me is energy that I don't want to put. I found a lump and then people are like, Oh God. it could be this or I don't need that. No, no, no, zip, zip, zip, And I say to all my family, I don't even get them to ask about my back anymore, right? So I've got degenerative disc disease. I don't get people to say, how's your back? Are you sitting in agony? Are you sitting in pain? Don't eliminate that, right? Because my energy is my portal and it's so important that I keep it clean and I keep it clear. So I can't have other people's energy trying to come inside of that. need to protect that. So for me to do that, I just need to stay focused on what I need to do. When I got the results, if the results were different, then I need to have a different conversation with my best friends. But why am going to tell them now, worry them now? I need to protect me and focus on that. So I believe that zooming out, whether it's, okay, well, I need to exchange on this property in order for the cash to come through for me to then put down on the next one, or I need to pay the bridge off. Okay, okay. I get it. It feels like a crisis right now, but using words like crisis or critical, all you're going to do is your nervousness is going to spike and you're going to go into survival mode and you are not going to be able to access any solutions. Cause what happens to your brain when, um, let's say you've got three months left to do a bridge and you haven't exchanged right now. Okay. So your brain wants to go, shit, you're not going to able to make that. Then what you're going to happen. That seller is going to pull out and you're not going to have to, okay. Your brain is draining its blood from your brain down to your jaw so that you can bite harder and to your legs. So you can run faster because again, back when we were cave woman, that's what we needed. Cybertooth tiger was chasing us. We needed to be able to bite back or run quicker. We don't need this now. It's just a bridge. It's just cash. We can work it out. Okay. So when we're able to regulate our nervous system, then it goes into the ACI method, the clearance part where you actually can clear it and regulate your nervous system. Your brain then recoups the blood back up. So when your blood is rushing around then in your brain, you get to access solutions, creativity, logic, strategy, which guess what? It's going to get you out of this solution. strategy you freaking out going my god i'm not going to pay the bridge and this is what i'm gonna lose the house and i should never have started this business and i'm gonna lose all the cash how is that helping you serving you right now it's just a part of you that's coming up sounds a bit like fear guilt shame there'll be something around that that we need to unpick which is then playing out it's in the front driving seat of that car so let's call it fear for now fear my god this is freaking out that isn't going to serve you so we need to do some clearance work to change up the roles get fear out of the driving seat Get this yourself, version of yourself, into that driving seat so you can be clear, can be confident, you can have clarity, can have convictions, all the C's. That's when you know you're in self. And that's when you can find the solutions. Yeah, that is when you find the solutions. Absolutely. I love that beautiful celebration. Absolutely gorgeous. And you're so right how health is wealth, as we always say. And you talked about that with bridging as a great example. And what I love, Tash, and why I think that our relationship is so great is because you're part of the property world and you're part of the subconscious world. You're part of both, which I love. So, um, so let's give, if we have time, I'm going to do my celebration at the end, but what I really want to do is just give some golden nuggets and some, value today for, everybody. So if we think about this navigating when things go wrong. So before you came on the podcast, you were telling me obviously that your weekend was spent going to fix problems with your, you know, properties and everything like that. And things were going wrong and this is how you're regulating. So let's say that someone's listening to this episode today, Monday morning, Tuesday morning, whatever it is. and things are just going wrong. Like it was for me about two weeks ago, where like buses, I had the most horrendous week, was the first week back, horrendous week, where every single thing kept going wrong to the point where I said to my friends, I was like, the world is literally burning around me now. Like it's burning bright. So what would you, what top tips would you give to people going through that in terms of navigating it or even what you did for yourself as a practical example? Okay. So my problem was, um, I had a leak and the ceiling of my kitchen and lounge collapsed. So it was no longer up there. It was now on the floor. had flooded the whole house. Um, and prior to that we had a window smashed. So yeah, it was two weeks of not so great things happening. Now, when I got this phone call and again, it's you in reactive mode, I get the phone call to say, this isn't good news. So instantly. my brain reverts back to, and this is why this work's so important, reverts back to when I got the phone call to say my dad had died. That's exactly what my aunt said. It's not good news, your dad's dead. I was like, what on earth? So can you see there how my brain had linked that phone call to bad news? My brain wanted to go into survival mode, to go, my God, this is crisis. So what I had to do is listen to what the person was saying. Okay, this is fine. Put the phone down. You cannot go to anybody else at this particular point, unless you've got a coach, right? Don't go to your best friend because all they're going to do, i.e. my husband, If I was to go to him, he'd go into crisis mode. That's his, what he'd revert to. my goodness, we need to do this. No, don't need that. What I needed to do, I didn't need to write anything on my to-do list or do anything. I needed to come and literally sit with myself. And I've done this really powerful activation, which I teach my clients, where it's when you're able to center yourself, find the story that's coming up, the feeling or the emotion, right? Where it is in your body. And then I do an activation to be able to clear that because Our subconscious mind doesn't speak in words. So you going, it's going to be okay. It's going to be okay. It's not going to, your subconscious is basically hearing Japanese right now. Okay. It doesn't understand it. So you need to be able to speak to your subconscious in a way where it understands. So in this toolbox, I teach my clients, I was able to then regulate it. So my nervous system wasn't spiked anymore. I was able to see and isolate the problem for what it was and then be able to activate solutions. So once then it probably took me about seven minutes. After I've that, I've then done some tapping. So EFT, emotion freedom tapping. Where you're then, this is a great way to regulate your nervous system. And another tip, what I do is called havering. So it's where you put your hands, so as if you cross your hands and you go from the top of your shoulders and you're down. So we need to think, so you just do this, okay? And you take a nice deep breath in. On the exhale, you think the word release. And just feel your whole body just relax down. And I want you to think about when you were, younger and you were upset, maybe you didn't get picked with the girls in school to be on their team, right? And you got upset and you felt like you wasn't good enough and you came home and maybe it was your mum that you turned to and she just gave you a little hug or maybe she just pat down your arms and instantly you're regulating your nervous system but you're also talking to your inner child right now. It's connecting and grounding in your body to your mind and just from that, just from calming that, Once then you've calmed your nervous system, you can then say things like, I talked to my inner child. So I'll be like, Tasha, listen, it's okay. It's all going to be okay. I know you're feeling a little bit worried right now, but we're going to find a solution. We've got this together. I don't need you to protect me. I've got me. I've got us. And just, Oh, it's going to shivers. Just in, so if you're doing that, it just calms you. So then I was able to go, okay, what am I going to do? Right. Let me call my sister, drop Santiago off. I'm going to head up there. I wouldn't have been able to access that before. I would have been coming from panic and franticness and I'm going to do sants and how I'm going to get there. That's not going to solve anything, especially in property. You need to go on your A game. And this is why this really working on yourself. When I think about does this just work because it's a coaching business, right? No, I work with entrepreneurs that are lawyers, creative people. I work with people that are in property. I work with people that are doing somatic healing like such a wild range, a dentist I work with, This work is so important because when everything comes up with problems, you need to be able to access those solutions. But the only way you're going to do that, if you can regulate yourself, how do you expect to execute a business if you can't even execute yourself? 100 % completely agree. you then can find all those solutions. And then, yeah, it was a very challenging week, but I made that a priority. So even though I wasn't sleeping great, I was sleeping in hotel, was obviously away from Santiago, every single morning I made sure I got up and I'd done the work on myself. Because it's very easy to just get up, grab the phone and go into firefight mode. But that isn't going to serve you. No, it's not going to serve you at all. I completely agree. And do know, I'm actually going to make a point on this now. This is going to be part of my celebration actually, because it ties in really beautifully with what you just said. So one of my celebrations is that I've got myself back in the gym and it is by far one, like it's where I belong. It is literally where I belong purely because for me, my biggest release is when I move my body, when I lift weights, when I run, when I just release those endorphins. and I feel like my body is moving and flowing. Like that is where I have my zen, if you like. Like if I'm dying at the end of a class full of sweat, I'm amazing. And something triggered me actually. Something triggered me on Friday. So a week ago Friday, a person triggered me, something triggered me, an event triggered me. And I said to my mom, I'm going to the gym. I'm going, I'm going to the gym. And she's like, go do your thing. So I went and I literally went on the bags and I got my gloves on and I just went for like literally like punching and did some weights, I did some running um and I came home and I was like a new woman. I was like, I feel great. I was like Friday night, let's go. Like I didn't need to talk to anyone. I didn't need to talk it out. I didn't need to hash it out. I'd already done it with myself. I was literally with the bags. was lifting the weights and... that for me was doing my work within myself to go release, like you're okay. And one of the things that I hate with a passion is cold water. And in cold, I despise it. And I have been working, I've been doing some cold plunges at the gym that I'm in. So I'm doing these cold plunges. The first time I ever went in, I lasted literally like dip out, like literally dip, I've done it out. And yesterday when I went again, I said to myself, you're gonna do a minute. You're do a whole minute, just over a minute. And I was able to get in and I was able to say to myself in an entire dialogue, I literally went, like breathe. I put my hands together like this and I went, you are safe, you are fine, nothing is going wrong. em Nothing's a problem, just breathe. And I was able to literally breathe through it and I got to a minute and I added 10 seconds. So I did a minute 10. So from a girl that literally dipped her toe, I was able to talk to myself to go, you are fine. This is good for you. And I just think to myself, God, the mind is so powerful. When you regulate and you talk to yourself, like almost like you could achieve anything you put your mind to because you've told yourself that you can do it. So therefore you can do it. And it's making me realize in the most bizarre way. that I actually can do anything in a beautiful way as long as it feels right, which is what you said earlier. And I think that's most important bit. um So that was my celebration that I thought tied in really beautifully. And I think, Tash, what you were just saying there about what happened to you and how you were able to regulate, again, I think that a lot of people, and I'm with you girls all the way, like I'm the same person, so I'm not saying I'm any different to you, would be that you would go to, I can't believe this is happening to me. can't believe this has happened. my God, this property is costing more than I thought it was. The money's not gonna be what we thought it was. Why are these problems happening? And so you spiral and then you go down this road of wobble, as we talked about at beginning, wobble, and this belief that it doesn't work. And then when you start talking to people, they then sort of, I always say, they put like coals on your fire, because they then say to you, well, I told you it wasn't gonna work. I told you you shouldn't have done that. I told you that this was good. And it's almost like you either say that to yourself, because I say to myself, I told you all the time, I told you it wasn't going to work. I told you you shouldn't have done that. And then I've got other people also doing that as well. So it's very much this notion of if we can take responsibility for ourselves and we can take responsibility for our own nervous system. and how we want to feel and not give permission to others, that is literally going to change lives, isn't it? Yeah, I think two things. The first thing is you need, you need your circle. You need your support system of when things are like this and your brain naturally wants to go to, cause that's, that's learning behavior. You're, we're so used to for me, one of my parts that always used to come up is victim. That was, I've, um, my back, I've been in pain since I was 18. I've had to take morphine and everyone's like, my God, you've got such amazing husband. Yeah. But I had a dickhead of an ex boyfriend. I always used to go to the victim because I felt like I couldn't just sit in there. This was good and it felt safe to be good. I couldn't, it always had to be the hustle and the, and my brain would have for sure years ago gone to this isn't where I can see you shouldn't have gone into property. You're busy enough with the businesses that you do got, but it didn't. And I think that just shows the growth in not once did my mind then go to victim. And I was even me, was like, wow, what a how far I've come that I've been able to retrain my mind. So even when other people's learnt behaviors were trying to reflect onto me, and it's not their fault, it's their learnt behavior, they obviously haven't done the subconscious work, but it didn't reflect onto me. I protected my bubble and I was like, okay, this isn't serving me. Me going down the, I shouldn't have done this, I'm not gonna get this money back out, it's gonna cost me too much money, is insurance gonna pay out all of this? Didn't even, I'm just like, right, is that gonna serve me? No, okay, what is going to serve me? And it's recognizing and having that toolbox to be able to do that. because then guess what your solution's different. Because look when you made that example there, right? With the cold bath plunge, okay? Nothing changed. The temper didn't change, the bath didn't change. What changed was you and the way you were thinking. So imagine when you put that into a property situation not going too well. Nothing's changing. Both of them, the bridge is gonna both run out. Both of them have had a flood. Both of them are filling whatever your problem is you're experiencing. But the thing that's gonna change is the way you navigate that problem. And that's with life. You can't stop life from happening. What you can do is change the way you react to it. Change the way you see your perception is everything. Me and you could look at this and someone could go, oh, see, you bought it. It's not even all full. And I'm like, wow, look at how much every water I get to drink today. Wow. We both look at the same bottle of water, but it's about training your mind because your brain's job is to keep you safe. That's all your brain's job is to do. So it's always going to go to the worst case scenario. That's what it's designed to do. It's in survival. That's all it's meant to do. What we need to do is create new neuro pathways. So it looks at this instead of like, Oh my God, I'm to run out of water and die. I'm going to look at the abundance of water that I get to do. This is incredible. We can train that. The most incredible thing about our brains is it's neuroplasticity, which means we can change it. don't just because I think the way you think right now doesn't mean you'll think this way forever. I was never a morning person. Now bounce out of bed at 5am. One of my best friends the other day were like, Tasha don't know how you do it. Like I don't know how you get up. And I'm like, you'll see it. She messaged me the validation, she's like, I'm up. This is the best thing in the world. I'm like, it is, right? So we all can change. And this is what is needed for us to create businesses that light us up, that make us feel good. So we jump out of bed and we're like, so excited to get to do this work today. That doesn't come from strategy. You won't find the validation in trust me, put my word out there. Let's say your goal is to get to 20K months. You get there and then you're like, it doesn't feel the way I thought it was going to feel. Yeah. I felt that way. I my ass off for 18 months. to get to 10K months, right? I wasn't this overnight success where everyone's like making 10K days now. But when, when we first started, it was getting to 10K months and it took me 18 months to get there. I had a bottle of Verve in my fridge that said, congratulations, you made 10K. And every month I'd go there and I'd be like, okay, next month, good, next month, next month, just constantly, constantly, constantly. And again, it was just fulfilling that validation of doing that. Now the Verve bottle's in there. If I want to open it today, tomorrow. I can, it's now not, I can only open this when I have the success of feeling enough. So it's about changing these things and really looking at, and I love the fact you ask in this podcast, what your win is. And it'd really, I'd be really loved to know like, um, what the majority, obviously I haven't heard all your podcasts, but the majority of people, do they go for monetary wins or is it always quite varied? you know, it's quite varied. I actually get, and it might be just because of me and my personality in the podcast, but I actually do get quite a lot of heartfelt kind of like personal celebrations, which is, which is really lovely because don't get me wrong. Some people will say I've had my best, my best ever month this month, and this is what I've made and all of this, which is a celebration by the way, you know, I think it's really important to also say money should be celebrated. We should talk about money. We should love money. Money should be seen as a positive thing. So If you want to come on and celebrate the fact that you are literally rolling in it, go for it. I'm here for you all the way. But no, get a real mixture. I get quite a lot of health. I get a lot of health ones, actually. I get a lot of family ones. get a lot of within the property world. So I'd get a lot of, you know, just completed on properties. So there's a real mixture. And I think what's beautiful is taking those moments to celebrate because it is such an important thing to do. is to celebrate and it's funny really because if you really think about the subconscious element of this right and just just for the listeners listening to this is I want them all to really think to themselves about about how how they think because I get quite a lot of people Tash who come to me who are trying to get into property or want and desire to get into property or business whatever it may be but there is always something holding them back so for example they'll come to me and they'll say, Athena, I listened to your podcast. I love your podcast. um I want to join girls and property community. I don't think now is the right time though, to join girls and property community. I don't have my first property yet. I don't have this. still in full time or I want to join in courses, but um I don't think it's the right time. And my family is saying I should be saving my money instead of investing it. And I always feel like they, it's almost like they come to me and they say, I want to do this, but. I want to take this leap, but, and it's always, here's my excuse, and I can't work out if they're telling me, waiting for me to give them permission or try and convince them as to how they could actually make this work. Or if they're saying just out of like being a fan, I love you, I love what you do, and I'm hoping to join at some point, but now isn't the right time. And so what would your advice be from a helping them out from a just a self conscious kind of perspective. Cause I also have those moments guys, by the way, where I go, I really need to invest in another team member, but I really need to invest in a funnel flow chart. But I should think about maybe doing two retreats a year instead of just one retreat a year. But I'm really thinking about getting into land development and maybe title splitting. But so we all have our versions of this. don't, don't ever think that I'm. over here not understanding that. So how do you think Tasha we can help us to go forward with it instead of allowing the butt to stop us? I think if you've got a but after any statement like that means you need to do the work even more so. If you're saying I'd love to get into property but, fill in the blank, my mom thinks it's not gonna do or I don't have the time. When are you gonna find the time? Because the time's just not miraculously gonna change. Like it doesn't. If you're working full time and then you're trying to like run your start a property business, you need to start it now. You'll never hear an entrepreneur go, I wish I started later. I'm really glad I left that till later. Like the majority of people I wish for me, I started nine years ago. I wish the focus wasn't strategy. I really, really wish that I learned and knew about the subconscious work. I truly believe I would have a very different business now. I would. That's just being honest. I would, because the way I think and feel and execute now is very, different to what I was doing nine years ago. So that's the first thing. The second thing I would say, We play out the what if game, okay? And it's always on a, I don't like to use the negative spiral because emotions are just neutral, but let's say it's a what if it doesn't work out. What if I'm not the right person? What if it works for Athena and everyone else in girls and property, but not me, right? Because that is a belief that I see day in, day out, okay? What if we change the what if, something I play with my clients and I go, what if it does work out? What if I learn the education that actually teaches me how I can create and do a flip? What if I learn how to do a title split and it really works out? What if this works out and then I get bit? Do you see what I mean? So we're so consumed in this spiral. What if we done this and it went up and we just played a little bit in our imagination because our brain doesn't know the difference between fact or fiction. So if we go, what if I learned about title split and it worked out and I like was able to get 10 title splits for like literally a grand. What if I went into land registry and then I met someone that actually had some land and I got a great deal for it then I can, I literally could show the girls in property. the in real time how I'm doing this, right? When it becomes a game, what if even in like, I meet the man of my dreams on a night out and I just had no idea it was going to happen. Can you see my energy and just how my body feels relaxed and I'm playing rather than what if, shit, this doesn't work out and I'm going to lose so much money. And what if I haven't stuck in my full-time job forever? It's that is not going to be the energy. It's not the vibe. Okay. And as entrepreneurs, need to, we get to choose the way our brain works. We get to interrupt. We can pattern interrupt and go, I see, sometimes I look like a crazy woman. Sometimes I'm like, Oh, I see a pattern there and everyone's looking at what she's talking about. It's just cause I'm talking to myself and like there's a pattern. need to interrupt it. So then you want to change that. So if you find yourself going through the what if you're in the DMs with Athena and you're like, yeah, I really want to do this, but I literally stand up and just shake, stand up and shake that what ifs out of your body and then just go, Oh, I'm just going to have five seconds to play. What if I learned from Athena and I actually got myself in property. What if I actually went to the retreat and I spoke to all the other women there that were once feeling the way I'm currently feeling and they're giving me the evidence of how this gets to work? What if I can do what Athena does? What if? Let's play that game. And that's why, and I'm just going to shout this out, Athena's incredible, right? And we've literally just met, but as soon as we met, I knew, we we went straight into deep chats. There was just something aligned with us. And literally now I'm literally like a spokeswoman. I was up in a new castle the other day, seeing another one of our properties and this woman said, I'd really love to get into properties. was like, Oh my God, you need to go to in property. And then to Athena, need to check her out because once you find somebody that truly does love what she does, that you have got so much passion for this. It's incredible. Okay. And you are something my dad would say is a true blue, someone that's really true and wants to do good in the world. And there is so much, I mean, this is a whole different podcast, but so much chitter chatter and fakeness and in the property world as they're in as in coaching worlds and everywhere, you're going to be that change maker. And that is why I will literally promote you because I know how good you are at what you do and just how much you care. You could see that at your event and just the way the women look at you and how they speak about you, not in front of you. I spoke to the girls without you being there. How much they adore you and how much they've been able to succeed with your help is the reason why you're born to do what this is. hence why we're gonna work together to get rid of all the other little bits and pieces going on so you can literally thrive in this business. I love that. Thank you, by the way. Thank you. God, that made me a bit emotional. Thank you, Tash. I really, really appreciate that. And I appreciate you so much. And you're so right. And by the way, I wrote down, just so you know, because I feel like I'm getting like an education as well as we're this podcast. So I've written down here, what if. That's actually going to be such a thing that I do. I'm going to tell you what I'm going to promise you, Tash, after today's episode. I'm going to allow myself five minutes of play a day, where I am actually going to allow myself to go, what if this goes really, really right for me? And... you know, what if this happens? And I'm gonna allow myself that five minutes of play. I'm genuinely, promise you, I'm gonna do that. Even if it's while I'm running, like maybe when I'm running and I'm moving my body, for me, that might be the best place time to go, what if this actually works? So I promise you, I'm gonna do that. And just going back to what you said there, I remember the first time me and you met, we were in London and literally... walked in and you were sat around and it was Lisa, Serena and Tasha was there. There was no small talk, not even like not even an ounce of small talk, not even like, hi isn't this rubbish weather we're having today? Where have you come from? Was it a long journey for you? No, I literally, I can't remember what I said but I literally walked in and I was like Right, so this has been a bit of a shit show and you were like, yeah, tell me about it. I was like, right, let's to know each other. And we literally spoke about our relationships. We spoke about what we've both recently been through. There were similarities and connections with our experience. And we just literally just, I was like, well, there you go, another soul sister. I was like, I found her. And I really believe, and I speak about this all the time, I'm beginning to actually understand what it means when you feel energetically aligned with people. And it's a very difficult thing to explain, but there are very few people that I feel energetically aligned to. And that's why I felt like I wanted to work with you. And I'm of course working with both you and my very good friend and business psychologist, Akhtar Khan. But what I've done is I've decided to work with both a man and a woman because I want both perspectives from the male point of view and the female point of view to bring me into this world. And he brings very different sort of skills to the skills that you bring and I think that you can never learn from enough people. I think it's all about like energetically aligning and bringing everybody who means well into your circle to feel supported and secure and I really feel that anyone who's listening to this, you start, if you're like I think where do I start in my property journey, where do I start in my business journey, start with your circle. Start with a good group of people around you. who you can genuinely trust, you can genuinely look up to, whether that's the community, amazing, you are always welcome at my table. Come, you know, just DM me community or have a chat, but genuinely find your people and just, just try, just try and just see how it works. And if the first one doesn't go well and the people aren't in your circle, that's okay. Go find a new circle, but just keep evolving and keep growing and keep moving forward. Even if it's just like compounding over a period of time and slow and steady, we'll always win the race and just make sure you do it as Tash beautifully said earlier. Do what feels right, because I think then you can never go wrong and just lead with heart, as I've always tried to do, always. Yeah, and I think if you're having fun in your business on a day-to-day basis, even when the shit hits the fan, like if I think about to the outside world, if there was like a film crew looking at me in the car, my hired car that I've got, which was manual, which I wasn't used to, and I was like, and I was blaring up the Beyonce songs, someone on the outside would looking in would think that I was living my best life. Not that my house was falling down. but I had embodied the identity of someone that finds solutions, the someone that finds the play. And I was sitting there, like, I'll have coffee now, I'm get my nice coffee. I was finding the good and the win and everything. I've got the music blaring. Now I can go and deal with this mess that's happening. So, but we could have gone, no music, sit in the car, stressed and worried and all tensed and we're not going to find the solutions. All we can choose, okay, this isn't an ideal situation. How can I find the play? How can I change? the narrative here because changing that narrative is what's going to change the solution. And even now, that situation still isn't on the other side of ideal. It's not perfect. It's not like I'm sitting here going, brilliant, this has happened now. But I'm still sitting in the energy of it's done. It's done. I'm able to regulate myself. I'm having fun. I'm having a good time. Do you know what? I'm living my best life. And I love that song by Jessie J. And God forbid, if anything was to happen, I was to die tomorrow, I mean, I've still got plenty more things that I want to do, places I want to travel, people I want to meet, all these things. But you know what, I think that I'm happy. I'm happy. I'm happy with the businesses that I've built and the impacts that I get to create. And do you know what? If I go for people whenever that day happens, people can go, do you know what? Just knowing Tash touched my life or she helped me grow this business that I really fell in love with or I was able to retire my husband or stay at home mum because of the skills that Tash taught me. I'm like, job done. Put a pin in it, I'm done. And you know what? I truly believe that's priceless. I really do. I think if you can sit there and say, and truly, truly say, like, I'm content, I'm happy, I'm healthy, today is a good day, I think that I would trade everything to have days like that, honestly. I think it's the most beautiful, beautiful place that a person can be. I think let's say that this nugget for the podcast is... let's all together strive for a place where we can consciously on our own, not in front of an audience, not in front of anyone, cup of tea, coffee, water, whatever you want to do, sit down on the morning and say, am I happy today? Am I healthy today? Am I content today? And am I ready for today? And I think if we can all do that and actually do it from a place of genuineness, then great. And if today isn't that day, say to yourself, okay, today's not that day, that's okay, because it's important to understand that there's good days and bad days. But as you beautifully said, Tash, how can we make today just a little bit better? Maybe we can have a hot chocolate instead of a coffee. Maybe we could go for a 10 minute run before we begin that horrible thing that we need to do. Maybe we have to go back to a house that we don't want to have to go back to, like me, for example, and therefore let's take a friend with us so that we actually can make it a better experience rather than going on our own. Whatever it is that you need to do, Like just make it a little bit uh happier for you and do the work on yourself ladies. I think that's the main thing I want to show and show what a gorgeous women Tash is in doing it. Like let's all just do a bit of work on ourselves. And I am 100 % getting both Atta and Tash into the community to really talk about this because I think I'm so invested in it at the moment. And I really think that this is the thing that will catapult you forward as opposed to any 10K membership, any 15K membership that will try and sell you the strategies or whatever it is, it is literally a waste of your money if you are not aligned with what it is that you're trying to do. And I cannot say that enough to you. Please, please do this work first. And, you know, that is why I have built out the Accelerator program, why I'm doing it, why I'm aligning soul and strategy together. And we're going to be beginning a second cohort in April. So come and talk to me about it, because it'll be me and Akhtar and it's so important to do the work there. Right Tash, would you believe it if I told you that we've gone over the hour mark, which is amazing. Because I literally just feel like I could just talk to you forever, which obviously I'm going to be doing for the next... Well, you're my friend, so I'll just talk to you anyway. But working together for the next year, literally, which is incredible. So to finish off this podcast, I'm going to do it actually, because I think that it's a fantastic episode and I think the girls are going to want it and they're going to think it's worth listening to, to the end. I've got a question for you that I've... I got asked this question basically on a podcast and it stumped me for about two minutes because I couldn't quite, I didn't quite know how to answer it. So I've asked it to a few people and I don't want to miss out on asking you this question because I actually would love to know your answer and I think the listeners would as well. So my question is this to you. What's one question that nobody has ever asked you that you wish that somebody would have asked you? Okay, it is quickie. I think the one question that haven't been asked, which needs, which is so potent is if you were to put it down to one thing that has grown your businesses to where they are today, what would you put it down to? If I was, if I only had to pick one thing, because obviously my mind wants to go, well, you know, this, this, this, this. And I just want to caveat as saying, I'm probably known on social media for saying this, right? Strategy will always come second, always. And this is coming from a business coach here, right? This is what I teach. But this is your question, Tash, as in what's one question that you, yeah, for you? Yeah, yeah. would ask myself, Tash, what would you put down as the one thing that has got you to where you are today in business? And I would honestly, on my hand on heart, doing this subconscious work because any strategy, whether it's been in property that I've done different strategies on or within business, running nine, you know, between nine years, there's a lot of strategies, right? All of them have executed because of the subconscious work. And I wish, I wish more of this was spoken about. because I truly believe with the right belief system, you can execute any strategy. If we worked on, say, let's say I took half of your girls that are in the membership, right? And I worked to adjust their mindsets. That's all I worked on is their subconscious minds, right? And the other ones, they just focus on the strategy. I promise you that them going to execute all of the strategies that you then teach, the majority of them that would succeed, the percentage would be way higher than the other ones. oh I know it. I've already seen it with my 10 women in the accelerator. Exactly, like it's key. seen it literally I'm like Jesus Christ Yeah, and my mind does want to go to, know, we naturally want to go, but this strategy is really good. This strategy is really good. But if I was to, if someone was, cause no one really wants to ask that what's the one thing that's got you to where you are today. But I would honestly say if I hadn't have done, if I hadn't done the subconscious work in 2022. I don't know what I'd be doing. I don't know who I'd be. You know, I honestly don't because it was such a dark time. that I'm just so grateful that I've done the work on myself. The success of the businesses have been great, but it's more just on me and how I feel and think about myself. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, but Tash, you know what's so beautiful about that? I'm you. I'm you. Literally. Like that's where I'm at in my life right now where I'm literally like, let's go girl. Because I'm now looking literally to go from this life that I've lived to going, I don't want it anymore. I don't want it. And now I'm to go through the roof. So literally, I'm so excited to work with you genuinely because I just think one, me and you are going to have the best time. We're just going to have so much fun. Like we're just gonna literally, we're gonna be dancing, we're gonna be doing all sorts of literally. So I'm so excited for it. But also I know that you know what it feels like. I know you know what it feels like. I know in my heart, I know in my heart that you were the best person to help me as well. Because you really get it. yeah, version 2.0 coming up. I love that question and thank you for answering it. beautifully, so openly and that's why I love this podcast because it's just us, you know, and people can almost be like a fire on the wall and I know that so many of you listening to this today, I really hope that you take away from this, this notion of em do the work, do the strategy, know, get yourself to where you want to be. There's some incredible episodes I've got coming up with women who are doing so many examples of various things that you can get into. But please, please just spend a moment to just focus on yourself as part of that and maybe split it like, you know, a 50-50 split. It will be the thing that will change your life the most. And I just wish that I'd done it sooner is probably something. But no regrets. It's come at the right time. But you wish I'd done it sooner. So Tash, so many people are going to want to get to know you and be in your world and be in your energy and your frequency. So where is the best place for people to find you? Definitely come and find me over on Instagram. It's at Natasha Clark coaching. And yes, send me a DM, tell me business, the podcast, tell me what your wins were. I'd love for you to share them. And yeah, if you want any help, I can kind of guide you into the best offer to work on your subconscious mind. Yeah, beautiful. And I am going to be getting attached into the community to do some sessions as well. So you're to see her over there. And because I think it's so important to do the work, but as always, if you want to come and just, just message me, if you want to join the community, if you want to know any more about the accelerator program and how I bring 10 women together twice a year to literally on a six month program to align your, your strategy with your alignment. This is where it's at. And I do it with uh my business psychologist and very good friend, Akhtar Khan. then do let me know, just give me the word accelerator and give you some more information. And then as Tash said earlier, do not forget we have got on Friday, 24th of April, the Girls in Property retreat. Now this is my zone of genius. This is the best thing of my entire year. I adore it with all of my heart where I bring 80 women together from all walks of life to come together at Penley Manor in Tring for the annual retreat. It is just gold. And as we said, if you're feeling like I don't think I'm quite there yet, I'm not in property, that's fine. A couple of the girls aren't in property, like come and just meet people, be inspired, have conversations. Obviously it's me, I'll just literally take you under my wing and I'll just literally push you with people. Like that's what I do. I'm a connector, that's my human design if you like. So um do come, do join. We're gonna have four expert speakers. um We are going to have eight expert tables. It's gonna be lunch and dinner included. It's from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the evening. And we do also have a split payment option available if you need split payment over a couple of months, that's absolutely fine. So, so let me know just the end of the word retreat. But Tash, I'd love to leave you with parting words today for everybody. So what are your final words of wisdom for our listeners? I just want to say to you, Athena, thank you so much for having me the podcast. I really hope that it's dialed in and connected with your girls so they understand the importance of working on your mindset. Like before you even think about which strategy to do, work on yourself, the belief systems that are coming up for you, the emotions that are stuck for you right now, so we can change that narrative and then change the trajectory of your business. Mm, gorgeous, gorgeous. Couldn't say it better myself, love it. Enjoy your Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, wherever you're listening in from. Let us know, please DM us, of course, get in contact, because I'd love to know what you're loving from the podcast, what you wanna learn more about, and hopefully I can get Tash back on for an episode two as well, to let you know how my journey is going, actually working with her as well. Maybe we could do like a six months into our journey working together. We do like another episode and I can tell you about what I'm learning. That could be really cool. So once again, love you all. Let me know what you're up to, what you're celebrating. Always DM me. My DMs are always open. And have the most amazing week. All right, ladies and gentlemen, take care. All the best. Bye for now.
